My Thanksgiving

My thanksgiving started with watching the Macy’s Day Thanksgiving Parade(yes, that is a picture from my camera).  This was the first year I attended the parade since moving to NYC.  I must say that it was a great experience despite all the negative things I heard about attending (watching it in person vs staying home and watching it on TV).  It was the perfect day for it.  Sunny skies and not too cold 🙂

One of the best parts of the parade was watching all the little kids get soooo excited over Hannah Montana and Pukachu! lol!  It reminded me of the hysteria that would come about when Michael Jackson was popular in the 80’s  It was such a funny/cute sight to see.  I ended up taking A LOT of pics however I found that I was mostly interested in wanting to capture the faces of the children that were surrounding me.

Kids are one of the few things that bring a smile to my face anymore.  I see too much uglieness in the world.  Children still hold an innocence to them.  When I see them I am reminded of how precious life itself is and that there are things in life worth living for.

After the parade I joined a bunch of friends in Queens for a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner and pole dance (pics upon request) Thank you!
